The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

More than 450 North Dakota high school students are starting their beyond at Bismarck State College while still in high school through the BSC Early Entry program in Fall 2015.

Over 3,000 students named to Dean's List

BSC students were recognized as being named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges when Bismarck State College celebrated its scholars and outstanding students at the 46th annual spring Recognition Ceremony April 22 in the Bavendick Stateroom of the National Energy Center of Excellence.

Bismarck State College celebrated its scholars and outstanding students at the 46th annual spring Recognition Ceremony April 22 in the Bavendick Stateroom of the National Energy Center of Excellence. This year 184 students were nominated for Phi Theta Kappa membership.

University of Jamestown, Jamestown, N.D., recognized 200 students during the school's 109th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 9 at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Bismarck State College celebrated its scholars and outstanding students at the 46th annual spring Recognition Ceremony April 22 in the Bavendick Stateroom of the National Energy Center of Excellence.

64 students graduated with honors at University of Jamestown's Commencement Ceremony held May 9th at the Jamestown Civic Center. A Cum Laude designation indicates a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 - 3.6999. Magna Cum Laude indicates a 3.7 - 3.8999, and Suma Cum Laude indicates a GPA of 3.9 or greater.

The Dean's List at the University of Jamestown is comprised of students earning at least a 3.5 grade point average during the semester and taking at least 12 credits.

Sigma Theta Tau International is an Honor Society for nurses which emphasizes scholarship, leadership, research, and education. Only 35% of a class is accepted for membership and a 3.0 GPA is required for student admission.

The National Junior College Athletic Association named five BSC Mystic athletes to its 2014 Region XIII All-Region Women's Golf Team.

Defending national champions gear up for season

2,813 students named to Dean's List at UW-Whitewater

At the end of each regular semester, Dickinson State University recognizes those students named to the Dean's List. Eligible students must be enrolled full-time and must earn at 3.5 GPA or higher.

More than 200 students from across the globe were candidates for degree at Dickinson State University's (DSU) 94th annual spring commencement on May 17. The candidates for degree represented 11 U.S. states, 10 international countries and the Lakota Sioux Tribal Nation.
